Plimmerton and Paremata - Cam Theme - 48

North west of Wellington, you will find these two suburbs.
We first drove to Plimmerton, parked the car and walked, taking photos as we went.
Then it was off to the Pauatahanui inlet for a quick look-see.
These being some of the photos from that day...
This one below, was at the south end of Plimmerton looking back towards the highway.

There are 11 photo sets in this "CAM" and one guest pic.

Norfolk pine tree

This one of a Norfolk pine tree in Plimmerton was a photographic challenge...
trying to keep the horizon line straight and get the whole tree into view without too much distortion.

Pohutukawa bloom

these usually only bloom from late November onwards, so was a refreshing sight to see two lone blooms spurting forth early...

GUEST PHOTO:
His blog is well worth a visit...

“I asked the Zebra,
are you black with white stripes?
Or white with black stripes?
And the zebra asked me,
Are you good with bad habits?
Or are you bad with good habits?
Are you noisy with quiet times?
Or are you quiet with noisy times?
Are you happy with some sad days?
Or are you sad with some happy days?
Are you neat with some sloppy ways?
Or are you sloppy with some neat ways?
And on and on and on and on and on and on he went.
I’ll never ask a zebra about stripes...again.”
