Civic Square - Wellington - Cam theme 4 -

Still winter here but for the first time in what seems like ages, the sun is shining and the well known wind of the city has subsided.
As a result, my cam practice pics happened to chance upon the Civic Square.
With only 10minutes to spare, my jog around the square resulted in most of these pics being blogged.
The subject matter being something I haven't focused on yet - sculptures and architectural forms...

Neil Dawson's scuplure "Ferns" floats like a second moon, suspended over Wellington's Civic Square. The Majestic, Wellington's tallest building on the left.

Palm sculptures lining the pedestrian walkway outside Wellington City Library.

Sculpture on the City to Sea Bridge near Civic Square.

Nikau Palm sculptures embracing the rear of Wellington City Library at Civic Square. Wellington's second tallest builing in the background.

The popular Fern Ball sculpture - Civic Square.

Another little interesting find... This building caught my eye as I was walking back to the car.

An interesting arty 'doorway' I happened to chance upon on the way home. Wellington, New Zealand.

Victoria Street, Wellington - pic taken since it 'caught' my eye.
