orchids, orchids - everywhere in Singapore
and they seem to grow with abundant ease
not surprising then that this is Singapores National Flower
The riverboat cruises are a constant hum on the river.
Here, part of the 'old' city is dwarfed by the skyscrapers of modern Singapore.

I can't remember where this was at the waterfront, but the scene of empty chairs appealed to me - leaving one to wonder what conversations have taken place here over the decades
