Oriental Bay, Wellington - Cam Theme - 8

At the risk of sounding a little obsessed with Oriental Bay and the Parade that lines it, the pics (hopefully) speak for themselves. We walk the Parade almost every day and each time it seems to evince its own different pulse - especially when the weather is forever changing...

There are 10 photos on the "cam" this week. Click on the photo to view a larger image.

Next update will be 1st October and show some sunny morning pics from Evan's Bay.

Mt.Vic Panorama from Oriental Parade. The rotund building on the left is Fisherman's Table restaurant. Freyburg pool building on the far right. This is looking south.

Oriental Fountain - looking due north

Boy on a beach - we watched this kid run up and down the beach looking for treasures and putting them in his bucket. The sun peeped out between clouds and the timing was perfect...

View from the rooftop of the Fisherman's Table restaurant - looking towards the west

Looking up to Mt.Victoria from Oriental Parade.

Freyburg Pool (the glass and white building on the right of the pic). Looking up to the 'convent' on Mount Victoria.

Living in a city so close to the ocean, these 'reflective' pics are bound to have a spot on the "CAM"...

This is entitled,"The tail of the whale".
