It was an average winter day here in Wellington, New Zealand.
My wife and I took a leisurely drive in the late afternoon - through Petone, round the east coast bays, past Eastbourne - to the end of the road where we parked the car and walked the track.
These photos being part of the collection...
This one is looking towards the entrance of Wellington harbour.

Awesome as usual. Glad you and your wife had a glorious drive. Also, the last photo of yours of the mountain top- looks similar to what I viewed in Kauai on the Poipu side of the island...except...There were waterfalls surrounding the montains that cascaded into pools...and of course the ever present rainbow stretched across the mountain as well....
awesome Pete.

Sounds very exotic - never been there (Kauai) - but the way you describe it sounds like some places on NZ's west coast (south island) or the south pacific islands...
Thanks for stopping by

Hi Steffi
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Much appreciated.
You have a very interesting and popular blog there.
My wife says she likes the bag and I like the postcard :-)
And I was interested to see what kind of "Chives" landed up growing in your container.
